Engaging content for organic growth

Built a highly engaged community in social channels (Instagram, Facebook & TikTok) organically through content that resonates and engages the audience.

I was in charge of the organic content strategy, managing the content calendar and running content workshops together with the team.

For example grew Instagram accounts @alvarpet with 2500+ followers (+40%) & @alvarpet.se with 2000+ followers in 1 year through content that resonates and engages the audience.

BRAND MANAGEMENT | COMPASS HRG

Staying on brand

Compass HRG had existing brand assets but needed help to stay on brand internationally. My task was to bring it all together and ensure that the relevant guidelines are systematically followed. This included creating an easy-to-understand design guide, social media templates, a ‘foolproof’ branded PowerPoint template and redesigning the website for better functionality and similarity internationally as well as welcoming a new CRM platform to collect leads.

As part of ensuring successful implementation of the brand guidelines, I hosted company-wide online trainings on how to use relevant assets.

During this project I was named the Brand Police of the office (but I’ll take that as a compliment 😉).

From idea to the grocery store shelf

While at university, I started my very first business selling my homemade granolas. This 3-year long journey was the best hands-on lesson on how to build and scale a brand from scratch that I can think of.

Being a one-woman business, I was involved in all areas of the business. One day I was working with sales or packaging, the next baking hands deep in the kitchen and other days solving legal matters. Fun (not at the time..) fact: I actually had to change the brand name from Best of Bettina to TwentyTwo Oats due to trademarking issues.

👈 This video was part of a creative way of showcasing the product quality in a playful brand-alike manner. As the founder I was responsible of the video concept, casting & scriptwriting after which I hired a video editor to help me get the final result to match my vision.

BRAND IDENTITY | WHATEVER FLOWERHEAD

+15% increase in sales

Created the brand identity for up and coming clothing brand, WHATEVER FLOWERHEAD. Since the brand identity launch the guidelines have been systematically used to promote product lines which has resulted in a +15% sales increase and sold out collections.

While creating the brand identity, I ensured it would be implemented in all areas of the business and marketing channels for consistency and increase brand recognition.

MULTI-CHANNEL MARKETING | ALVAR PET

x5 traffic to landing page from baseline

Paired up with knitwear designer Sari Nordlund to create the ultimate slow & sustainable style statements for our furry friends: a knitted dog sweater pattern. The goal of the campaign was to generate traffic to the website to direct people to the funnel and order an Alvar demo box. So how did it go?

Generated x5 traffic (unique visitors) from the baseline to the landing page where you could download the knitwear patterns for free.

Led the campaign all the way from ideation to execution: managing deadlines, scouting and being the point of contact to the designer, social media content, e-mail marketing and influencer seedings to name a few.

Brand buzz through PR

Enhanced brand visibility by securing media coverage for key events, including new kiosk launches and major announcements.

This generated consistent media coverage and local word-of-mouth buzz, driving strong sales during kiosk launches and positioning the brand as a community favourite.

VOLUNTEERING

Speaking up

Outside of work I spend time on a topic close to my heart - speaking up to raise awareness and destigmatise eating disorders. I do this by volunteering for Syömishäiriöliitto, hosting peer support chats or giving speeches of my own recovery story in schools and other relevant settings. I also created and hosted my own podcast, sharing my own story to help others.

Started a monthly newsletter for active customers at Alvar Pet in Finland, Sweden and Denmark to get the inside scoop and behind the scenes of the business to strengthen the pupstomer community.
